Corpus Christi Bandits plot
"FORCED TO TURN OUTLAW!!...to wipe out the stigma of a faked criminal record!"
Nancy Christi, the young sister of a returned World War II veteran, learns about the experiences of her grandfather James Christi shortly after the end of the American Civil War. After serving with the Texas cavalry, Captain James Christi returns to Corpus Christi in 1865, where he is falsely accused of murdering a local commissioner. James manages to escape and joins the three local desperados Rocky, Spade and Steve. James has since been nicknamed 'Corpus Christi Jim'. Together, they rob a stagecoach, but James is annoyed by Spade's harassment of a female passenger and vows to stay on the straight and narrow. However, that is easier said than done. James' past is revealed by evil saloon owner Wade Larkin, whose reign of terror James tries to end. When James takes out Larkin, he wants to turn himself in to Marshal Dan Adams, but Steve is shot at that moment.
