"Here's Spectacle! Breath-Taking Action in the Clouds! And a Gripping Romance in Glamorous France!"
Lieutenant Robert Banks takes leave during the First World War and leaves for Paris. There he meets the American Mary Gordon and the two fellow countrymen fall in love. The leave ends and Banks returns to rejoin the war. During a battle, he captures Von Baden (aka "Grey Eagle"). He takes Von Baden to headquarters, but when he gets there he is drugged by Mary. Having regained consciousness, Mary and Von Baden have disappeared.
