Tokyo Rose plot
"THE BEHIND-THE-SCENES DRAMA OF THE NO. 1 WOMAN WAR CRIMINAL!"
The Japanese Tokyo Rose has followed her schooling in the United States. During the Second World War, she is recalled by her homeland to broadcast English-language propaganda for the American troops on Japanese radio. Marine Pete Sherman has been chosen from a group of American POWs to be interviewed on Tokyo Rose's radio program. However, this interview leads to the death of one of Pete's comrades. Pete manages to escape a bombing raid with the help of neutral war correspondent Greta Norburg. He can go into hiding with the Japanese anti-militarist Charlie Otani. Vengeful Pete teams up with Charlie to kidnap Tokyo Rose and take her back to America in a submarine.
