During the Korean War, military nurses in the Air Force escort the wounded during their ambulance flights to the military hospitals. Lieutenant Polly Davis, one of the nurses in the Air Force, falls in love with helicopter pilot Captain Mike Barnes. However, Barnes faces a rival, ambulance pilot Captain Bill Eaton, who is in love with Polly.
