Djamilah plot

In Algeria, the war is raging between the Nationalists and the French led by Colonel Bigeard. The arrest of one of her friends opens the eyes of young Djamila: she joins the people's army of the urban guerrilla. She is arrested and tortured. In France, public opinion springs into action and Master Verges comes from Paris to defend the suspect. However, it is a mock trial and Djamila proclaims the final victory of the Algerian people.
