Aa Koe Naki Tomo plot

Nishiyama (Atsumi) is the only one of his platoon to survive World War II. After the war, he embarked on a long eight-year journey through Japan to deliver twelve letters from his fallen comrades. He is horrified at how quickly his comrades are already forgotten by their widows and family.
