"Some choices are impossible to make"
Doctor Vicki Westin has 48 hours to make a decision. She has to choose between her husband's or her daughter's life. This choice was imposed by a kidnapper. A deranged man who battles a personal feud with health care after losing his daughter and his wife falling into a coma while being treated by Vicki. He has already taken revenge on three health insurers, who did not approve his wife's surgery. The attending physician, who assisted Vicki in her attempt to save the woman, cannot escape his revenge.
