Tod in Miami plot

German transport entrepreneur Michael Evers is on holiday with his wife Suzanne, his employee Kai Vogt and his wife Vera. He is shot and killed by robbers on his way to the hotel in Miami. His wife Suzanne had recently discovered that he was having an affair with Vera. Back in its own country, the company appears to have more creditors than debtors and if a competitor offers help, that is of course not the solution either. Suzanne is forced to ask Kai to get her out of the doldrums.
