Amara is looking for a boyfriend. She creates a profile on a dating app and pretends to be eighteen, but she is actually only sixteen. Amara gets to know Shane through the dating app. The two start dating, but Amara's mother Diane isn't happy about it. The misery begins when mother and daughter are stalked. They have no idea who the stalker is until Diane begins to delve into Shane's past. She discovers that he is every mother's nightmare and tries to protect Amara.
