The Alleys plot
"Behind closed doors, neighbours hide secrets."
In the streets and alleys of East Amman, rumors and violence determine the relationship. Sjoemelaar Ali and Lana, daughter of the owner of a beauty salon, are passionately in love, but have to keep it a secret. When Lana's mother, who disapproves of the affair, is blackmailed by a stranger with a video of the young lovebirds, she enlists the help of Abbas, the gangster boss of the neighborhood. Thus begins a chain reaction of unforeseen, often shocking events involving several local residents. And did Ali make up his respectable foreign employer or not?
