Tempesta plot

American art appraiser Patrick Donovan is sent to Venice by an insurance company to check three paintings for authenticity. Two Bellinis turn out to be real, but before he gets to Giorgione's 'La Tempesta' it appears to have been stolen. Donovan decides to track down the thief. In his search, Donovan finds himself in a web of lies, fakes and even murder. Do Allart van Beuningen, the director of the museum, and his daughter, the beautiful Chiara, have anything to do with it?
