Tejano plot

Javi lives and works in the fields of South Texas with his grandfather Arturo. Secretly, Javi plans to escape South Texas with his Mexican girlfriend Lorena. But when Arturo's cancer takes a bad turn, Javi's plans are frozen. Desperate for money, Javi crosses Mexico and meets Lorena's brother Adelio, a rising cartel member. The cartel offers Javi $10,000 to walk across the border with a plaster made from cocaine — but there's a catch. First they will break his arm. For the sake of his grandfather, Javi resorts to the unthinkable.
