Somewhere Quiet plot
Meg tries to get back to normal life after being involved in a kidnapping. Together with her husband Scott, she stays in his family home in the countryside for a while to give the trauma a place. Unexpectedly, Scott's cousin Madeline also knocks on the door, who imposes herself somewhat. Meg experiences hallucinations and nightmares as a result of her presence.

There is so much tension created by our actors' portrayals of their characters, I find it hard not to throw my remote. I'm not enjoying the vibe, but I really want to see my main character say "enough is enough" and so something about the indifference by her mate and his cousin's sociopathic behavior. The film is giving off some horrible family secret vibes, dread folks, my mind trying to figure out the next play. The deception is masterfully played. All my hopes for this one are validated by how this is played out.
