Sleeper's Wake plot
John Wraith is a mid-forties who slowly regains consciousness in the hospital. His wife and daughter have just died in a car accident because John fell asleep at the wheel. To find some peace and quiet, he leaves for a cottage on the coast where he soon comes into contact with 17-year-old Jackie, who is struggling with the fact that she has lost her recently murdered mother during a violent robbery at her own home. A dangerous physical attraction develops between John and Jackie, and despite the risk of their relationship being noticed, they decide to stay together...
