Josh [Ben Foster] and Rachel [Cobie Smulders] move into a house with a view of a sharp bend where quite a few serious accidents take place, together with their son Max [William Kosovic]. At first, the main concern is that Max will notice so little of this and will not suffer any trauma, but it soon becomes clear that the events mainly have an impact on Josh and influence his behavior in such a way that Rachel is faced with a difficult choice. Foster once again delivers a strong example in what emotionally arouses the expectation of a slow burner, but fizzles out like a candle and creates a feeling of frustration and a missed opportunity.
