Taylor Evans sees her normal life change drastically when she inexplicably develops a phobia of water. Desperate, she turns to Dr. John Cane, a notorious psychiatrist whose rising fame in the medical community has been linked to successful but controversial behavior. dr. Cane accepts Taylor's treatment on the condition that, for her safety and well-being, the treatment takes place on a remote island. Once on the island, Taylor begins to suspect that Dr. Cane may not have told the whole truth, and that a terrible fate will befall her if she doesn't find a way to get off the island.
