Screamer plot

Nicola travels to the countryside to visit her friends, the Holts, and is alarmed to find she is being followed by a suspicious figure on the train with her. However, the Holts had engine trouble and come home the next morning to find a bruised Nicola in shock in their living room full of blood. Nicola is admitted to an institution and is too traumatized to help the police. When she later returns to the Holts, she thinks she sees her attacker several times. However, the police claim that the serial rapist has been caught and do nothing. Nicola then decides to take action himself.
