"Justice has no roadmap. Some journeys begin where the system ends."
Joe Powell is seeking justice for his son, JJ, and his future daughter-in-law, Veronica. They were the victims of a hit-and-run accident that killed JJ and injured Veronica so severely that she miscarried. The vehicle's owner, Patrick Gerrard, is a wealthy, well-connected man. He claims he was the victim of a carjacking and that the thief was driving when the couple was hit. Joe is unconvinced and urges the police to investigate further, as he believes Gerrard was drunk and lost control of the car.

Based on true events... just kidding. Amateurishly acted, unrealistic story. Without a trailer or description, the film starts off rather confusingly. The underlying message is clear: causes, actions, and their consequences. Unfortunately, it's a trivial affair with a poorly developed ending.
