Murder101 plot

"A female law student learns there is more to a Criminology class that is provided in the syllabus."

Smart college student Fiona Reid enrolls in Professor Mark Sloan's criminology class. She discovers that there is more to the professor's theories. Then some gruesome murders take place. The sheriff thinks there's a serial killer behind it. With a passion for solving murders, Fiona dives into it. Surprisingly, she gets help from Professor Sloan; he calls her at the craziest times with tips, he talks to her in code from the podium and points her in the right direction to get closer to the solution. As the victims become less random and closer to Fiona's own life, she begins to see everyone around her as a suspect.
