Fugue plot

Charlotte moves into a new home with her older friend Howard, a college professor. Charlotte has just suffered an accident that she has barely dealt with, but they are trying to have a child and make a fresh start. However, it isn't long before Charlotte senses a malevolent presence in the house and begins seeing visions of a menacing black-haired woman. She begins to suspect that something terrible has happened in the house and is determined to find out what it is. But at what price?
