Escaping Dad plot
Erin is a mother of two and is married to Darren, who is a prosecutor by profession. However, Darren is not a good husband and father and manipulates and abuses his family. After a terrifying evening, Erin realizes that it can't go on like this and that she must protect her children. She takes off with them and travels to a friend in California. Darren doesn't give up and uses all the connections he has to track down his family.
