We have indeed seen this kind of film many times before, and much better. What is the most important thing in these types of films? There has to be chemistry between the people having an affair, and be honest; this is no femme fatale, and the young guy doesn't have it either...

Quite a successful film. It begins with a party featuring rich and beautiful people. That sets the tone immediately. Soon, it becomes unclear what is going on, and the film makes clever use of that later on.

This film is set in Mexico City and presents a very different picture from most films I know from Mexico, which almost always focus on the immense violence of drugs, their gangs, corruption, and other such misery. Not so here, however, but instead beautiful people and sensitive sensuality. Mostly stylishly filmed, but unfortunately a bit too much visual embellishment at times.

The film offers a nice twist and some fun subtwists, along with a sophisticated script. None of it is original, but ultimately, this makes it worthwhile.
