De Belager plot

Marcel Paroo is a charming recently divorced city councilor who uses young regional TV journalist Nikki to regain custody of his children. After a short relationship, she soon wants to hear from him when she finds out that Paroo is threatening his ex-wife and abusing his children. If the alderman subsequently does not accept her rejection, the journalist is also attacked by him. Nikki's situation becomes increasingly dire and she enlists the help of lawyer Elles, who in the meantime wants to uncover the truth about the sudden tragic death of Paroo's ex-wife.
