Cavite plot

"Deliver unspeakable terror or lose everyone you love"

From the moment this Americanized Filipino arrives at the airport and embarks on a desperate journey through his unknown city, to the surprising denouement, he is chased by the camera as if by a heat-seeking projectile. Cavite is a town in a country from which he is estranged and whose language he barely speaks. He has no time to acclimatize. Barely arrived, he is called by a stranger on his mobile. His mother and his nine-year-old sister are said to have been taken hostage. He is then sent to every nook and cranny of Cavite by the unknown. The kidnappers appear to belong to the Abu Sayyaf, an Islamist guerrilla group that carries out terrorist actions from the southern Philippine islands and specializes in extremely gruesome kidnappings.
