Blacktop plot

"Murder on the move."

David Trueman works as a stand-up comedian in yet another trucker cafe. His girlfriend Sylvia does not see David's career taking off and wants to move to the big city with him so that she can earn a living. After a big fight, Sylvia decides to leave on her own, with help from a crazy driver Jack, who gives her a lift in his monster truck the "Goliath". David, in turn, finds a clue that makes him suspect the worst about Jack's true nature, and he does everything he can to free his girlfriend from Jack's hands.
