"A parallel dimension... a gateway to hell"

When a crew of electricians is sent to a vacant Chicago building to investigate a bizarre power source, they find themselves in an abandoned lab. There they stumble upon what looks like an inoperative nuclear reactor, until the device is unfortunately activated to a parallel universe. From one moment to the next they are trapped in a crazy mirror world, where wild cannibals with spider-like limbs roam. A shrinking band of survivors tries to defend themselves with primitive weapons against a growing force of spider people and their monstrous queen. The two groups must join forces to defeat the queen and find their way back through the gate. It's their only chance to escape this terrifying and insidious parallel universe.
