Escape from Safehaven plot

A brave family breathes a sigh of relief when they find out they've been admitted to Safehaven, a walled fortress where people live in relative peace without fear of looters roaming the post-nuclear wasteland. So they pack their things and head for Safehaven, only to be attacked along the way by a hungry gang of nomads who want to do naughty things with their wives. Do they arrive on time?
