"The last defense. The last hope. The battle for the future of the world has begun."
Three astronauts, who left Earth in an atomic space station during an atomic war, return three months later. They are faced with the horrific reality when they discover that all the towns and cities have been wiped out and the pre-war civilization completely destroyed. One of them, while trying to struggle out of the crashed station, is immediately killed and eaten by terminals, insane survivors who are terminally ill.
