There's a lot to like about Schrödinger's dinner, but I thought it was quite entertaining. I'd watch it again, but I can't stand those natural, apparently improvised dialogues more than once.

In any case, what I think is a clever choice is that at the end the attention is shifted from the mechanism of the endlessly branching parallel universes, to an ethical moment of the 'main character' in this ensemble piece.

Watched the film again, and still adjusted to 4 stars.

Very strong.

Nice piece of film that can deliver a surprisingly strong and claustrophobic piece with an original element. Byrkit actually shows that you can go very far with talent. Coherence is the ultimate proof that budget is not necessary at all to make a really good film, just the right vision and limits.

I must say that I found it one of the most difficult and complex films to follow. The details really fly around your ears, you have to constantly keep your head up to keep up with it all. Some users get through the movie right away, even after watching a video explaining the entire process, I had trouble fully understanding the movie.

However, the broad outlines are clear and it is special to see how in principle every scene has a certain meaning in the story. Also nice how strong the directing is. The acting feels raw, but the busy editing, the nervous camera work and the fast cutting and pasting also create an intense impression. Perhaps the actual showing of violence is a bit soft, but the narrative itself easily compensates for that.

So nice discovery. Knows how to surprise just about every minute. Maybe it's a little too ambitious with ideas that aren't always necessary to advance the story, but that's about the only real complaint I have. I'll have to check again to see how much I can keep up with. Very impressed with the script. Coherence shows how it should be done when you have little money at your disposal.
