Mediocre.
The premise is great (although unnecessarily explained with extra explanation) and also visually there is a nice idea here and there (the fight on hologram). Overall, however, the film is mediocre. The directing, and especially action directing, is substandard. The action makes the film look like a B-movie, while Adam Driver still has an A-lister in the lead. Not that he can do much with that regrettable family bullshit, painfully supported by a weighty string orchestra. Judging by the poster, I expected more of a pure action film à la Predator, but this is by no means.

Visually it all looks good, although we are a bit used to it these days and we should be happy that blockbusters do not waste their budget on little creative CGI. In terms of looks, it looks good, but never special. The main role on duty is Adam Driver who does a snack once in a while. A film that looks away with some chips in hand. But you are also forgotten once you leave the cinema. There is hardly any story and the action and tension is unfortunately a bit too predictable. It's never bad, just pretty boring.
