Claire Hart is a Manhattan corporate lawyer specializing in real estate matters. She returns home to help with her father's annual fall party at the family's pumpkin farm. Once there, she discovers that the farm's neighbor has filed a lawsuit claiming that part of the land belongs to her. Claire agrees to represent her father in court, but then she realizes that the opposing representative is an old high school rival, Patrick Harris.
