Infidelity plot

Nick and Ellie are the perfect couple: successful, in love and parents to a cute little girl. Their return from Africa to San Francisco, however, is the start of a series of shocking events that eventually threaten to end their happy existence. When Ellie also has a miscarriage during Nick's trip abroad, everything is brought to a head. Ellie leaves the house and Nick, hurt and abandoned, seeks comfort from his wife's best friend.
