Das Wandernde Bild plot
After the death of his brother Georg, John Vanderheit expects to inherit his fortune. Unfortunately, just before his death, Georg had a will drawn up stating that he left everything to his wife Irmgard. Unwilling to give anything to John, Irmgard flees and embarks on a perilous journey through the mountains. There she meets a friendly hermit who offers her shelter. However, John is right behind her and when Irmgard tries to avoid him, he causes an avalanche in an attempt to kill her. Locked up in the hermit's hut, the hermit takes off his hat, revealing that he is her husband Georg.
