After the Storm plot
When a hurricane sweeps through Lauren's hometown, her dog is rescued by Collin and they all have to find shelter together. This makes for an awkward situation, however, as Collin abandoned Lauren five years ago and she hasn't forgiven him yet. When the hurricane is over, they discover that many buildings, including Lauren's house, have been destroyed. During the recovery work, Lauren and Collin grow closer, despite their differences in the past.
