Killjoy plot

Lou Corbin (Robert Culp) is a dedicated police officer. When Joy Morgan (Ann Dusenberry) disappears and is pronounced dead, Lou is determined to solve the case. His investigation leads him to a large hospital, where he has four suspects in mind: Laury Medford (Kim Basinger) and the doctors Max Heller (Stephen Macht), Martha Trenton (Nancy Marchand) and Paul Trenton (John Rubinstein). As his investigation progresses, suspicions and doubts begin to mount.
