"A Mad, Merry, Musical Delight!"

The film career of the actor and bon vivant Bruce Farraday is coming to an end. Nightclub singer Joan Warren likes to be in the spotlight all the time. Joans's agent Nicholas K. Alexander arranges a "romance" between Bruce and her. But Joan starts a love affair with Ted Blake so that Bruce can continue his single life.
