Hoor My Lied plot

David Retief is a singing surgeon. His daughter is paralyzed after David and Marietjie are involved in a serious car accident. David's head injury leaves him blind within 2 years. Lydia de Graaff is a nurse at the hospital where Retief works. She was partly responsible for the accident, and her guilt leads her to help David and his daughter. Lydia accompanies them when they go to America to treat Marietjie. Retief vision deteriorates rapidly, however.
