Dance, Girl, Dance plot

Simple dancer Joe Pitt hires the naive Sally Patter for his theater performances. However, after both get married, the pressures of show business coupled with Joe's irresponsible behavior lead to another split. Lou Kendall, a tough woman with a heart of gold, decides to help pregnant Sally. She introduces her to the great Broadway producer Wade 'Val' Valentine. Sally quickly becomes a star, while Valentine supports her private life financially.
