Winthrop plot

After the death of her mother, Ellen retreats to a quiet rural village, where she takes on the care of her severely traumatized cousin, Winthrop. Their fragile new life comes under pressure when an unpredictable neighbor warns her that Winthrop is dangerous. As increasingly strange events occur, Ellen discovers that a supernatural threat is hunting him. To protect Winthrop, she must do whatever it takes.
