Serial killer Charles Campbell attends therapy sessions with psychologist Dr. WL Janz, while simultaneously committing horrific, consecutive murders. Campbell is obsessed with announcing his next murder to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), convinced they can't catch him. dr. Janz has his own take on the Campbell case and thinks he can get a grip on Campbell's tantrums. However, Janz is nothing more than a father figure to Campbell, which is not a good foundation for confidence; Campbell also hates his dominant 'father'. Will the LAPD be able to stop Campbell before he kills his doctor too?
