Paradise plot

High in the Appalachians, a coal company has ripped open the earth and blasted up centuries-old rock. But one explosion goes too deep and opens a shaft hundreds of meters deep. Jesse decides to take on the dangerous job of exploring the shaft but disappears without a trace. Soon, a disease spreads through the small town. Whatever has awakened beneath the mountain, it does not stay underground, but spreads through people, blood, and earth.
