"It's taken two hundred years but this cop's past is about to catch up with him."

As a vampire you usually don't get any further than a night porter, but Nick Knight came up with the bright idea to report to the police, for the night shift that is. Smart, because that way he can occasionally take a sip of the arterial fluid of the unfortunate victims who cross his official path.
