"The Lucky Ones are Already Dead"
A group of friends narrowly escape an old cemetery, long forgotten and buried beneath the Cape Cod swamps. They have already lost two of their friends in the swamp, presumed dead. They stumble upon an empty vacation home along the misty swamp and break in to take shelter. Whatever is in the swamp is still after them. When one of them sets out to seek help, the group discovers that there is something else that wants them dead. Something far worse and crueler lurks outside the swamp, inside the house.

Scantily clad ladies are a means and not an end. Wolsh is a complete non-lover of the genre and not an expert at all. It's amazing how you can determine that (without a doubt) in about fifteen minutes. Shot on a small budget, but with a RED (and in 4K). You could do a lot of fun with that, but if you have the balls to do it... this is what you get. A small moment within a scene, for example, when she walks down the stairs: an easy action. Can often be told in one shot, perhaps nice to do with two frames. He decides to make 5, of which 3 are completely backwards and completely incompatible with the rest. It almost seems like he wants to tease his editor... (I felt his pain). Perhaps you shouldn't push it too hard, because the film's stakes are higher than it is, but it was sold that way on its own initiative. So just finish it and keep your fingers crossed that this doesn't happen again.

This might be the worst horror movie of the year for me.
The film starts with a long scene that gives you the idea that you are joining the story somewhere halfway. This piece tries to make fun of the horror clichés, but unfortunately this only results in some painfully bad dialogue.
Even though the film was shot in 4K, if you expose a number of scenes (the one in the swamp) so poorly that there is little to see, then it won't be of much use.
Furthermore, the many busty ladies who take off their clothes for the most ridiculous reasons take off and the bad background music sometimes make you feel like you are watching a cheap porn film.
Sometimes the camera work is downright bad and that also has a negative effect on the quality. Even for Kane Hodder fans who want to see him do what he is known for again, this film is really not worth watching.
I can only advise to give this a wide berth.
