Killjoy's Psycho Circus plot
"Welcome, My Friends. To the Show That Never Ends."
Killjoy, the demonic, murderous clown, makes his way to Earth. Together with his friends Freakshow, Punchy and Batty Boop, he decides to terrorize humanity. Killjoy soon discovers that life on Earth isn't much fun at all; one has to pay taxes, among other things. When his friends leave him, Killjoy finds himself alone and starts his own web series. Meanwhile, Beelzebub is on trial in Hell for letting Killjoy escape. To get out of his sentence, Beezlebub will have to capture Killjoy's ghost.

The previous bravado films had the advantage of using practical effects for the murders, but in this (hopefully) final chapter of the Killjoy series, even that has been killed off. While the previous film shifted the focus from horror to comedy, Psycho Circus turns it primarily into a kind of commentary on contemporary culture. Unfortunately for director John Lechago and his cast members, it is not a very successful one, with endless (self-aware) jokes and a lot of characters that don't work at all. At the end of the day, the production looks mostly aimless and lacking in ideas, so apparently they just threw some random concepts at it and hoped it would stick. Small bonus points for a degree of unpredictability, but it really takes a lot of effort to get through it.
