Mediocre
A rather flat work with a bland pace and little (promised) gore. It all starts off pretty stupid with two Mexicans and a donkey ( :') ) and some black magic nonsense to make it all a bit more logical? Oh well, it's horror's own of course! Quite fun in the end 
. But the further use of these pieces is completely missing, it is so interchangeable, as is actually the whole film.
I read comments that there is some cool gore in it, and that it is therefore worth watching. Now I wonder if I got the wrong movie, because I saw very little unfortunately. Either it was 'effective' off-screen (Chainsaw scene and head on asphalt for example) or just annoyingly standard and without guts. In fact, the entertaining approach that such a work can use is simply missing continuously.
The bad guys are also just a bunch of bland and replaceable bikers. I always prefer a bunch of crazy rednecks, this was all a bit tame and simple. But all in all it's not a disaster, the build-up is fun (made me think for 5 minutes that it was going the way of Joy Ride because of the radio conversation) and it has a few nice (funny) things in between that keep it all watchable.
Unfortunately, those approaches are rather inconsistent, which is a shame because now a doubtful feeling arose.. should I take it seriously or is it all one big fat wink?. I tried to hold on to the second and at times that works out positively here, but the film also swings too much in that. The atmosphere is fine, this definitely does not get a failing grade from me, but I would not really call it a great recommendation.

Weak horror film that seems more like a film about vampires, than about a devilish sect that are looking for the perfect bond with a woman where the devil's child can be brought to its destination. A bit of horror, a bit of nudity, a bit of action, ...but in all areas quite tame. 3/10
