When 4 schoolgirls open a book while cleaning a building, they awaken an angry demon. This turns out to be an animation lustful for blood and naked girls.

Evil Toons is a bit misleading title, as the film pays very little attention to the animation. Furthermore, Olen Ray is clearly trying to make a spoof on the 80s haunted house/slasher flicks. For example, they regularly mock genre clichés, such as the split of the group and bickering about who goes first.
The main characters are 4 girls who are going to clean an old house for a few days for 100 dollars. Once inside, they find strange artifacts in the basement, a thunderstorm begins and a stray David Carradine calls with some kind of Necronomicon. The latter still appears regularly as "the creepy old man" and we only get a far-fetched explanation of his presence at the end.
The busty Monique Gabrielle plays the innocent girl who is secretly curious about sex, etc. That's why she seems a bit impressed by her dissolute cleaning partner, played by Madison Stone, a pornographic actress of the time. Jan is also played by a pornographic actress, namely Barbara Dare (but credited here under the name Stacey Nix).
Of course you can't expect high-quality acting from such ladies, but they do take off their clothes easily and let that be something that Olen Ray likes to see. As a viewer, therefore, there is no lack of female nudity in this film.
Furthermore, Arte Johnson in particular knows how to entertain as the nice and bad neighbor.
Far from Oscar-worthy footage, of course, but I was able to laugh with it here and there. Some more gore would have been welcome, but otherwise the film gives what you can expect from it.

Typical Fred. In terms of design, it shows great similarities with Witch Academy (1995) , in which a couple of scantily clad ladies get playful with the supernatural. In Evil Toons this is a real Necronomicon from which the animated evil appears. A fantastic idea that unfortunately enjoys little screen time. Soon it goes back to what we've seen from him before. A few Fred regulars like Michelle Bauer are allowed to whirl around again and a funny role by Carradine, among others, give the whole thing some color. Anyone who likes Madison Stone should actually try 'Edward Penishands 2', that sounds like a gem. For what it's worth, CMV's German Blu-ray is surprisingly tight.

For this horror film of the b-garnish, it was thought that it would be nice to add animation as a lure. That doesn't sound very scary. And it isn't. The animations look pretty amateurish. Pasted in a movie with some allure you might get away with it. Pasted into a harrowing film like this, it's a pathetic display. Moreover, it is only a single drawn figure that shows itself once or twice. The prominent announcement that this is a combination of reality and animation can therefore go into the waste bin. The animation is a minor side issue.
And then we're left with a chewed-out story about four women in a haunted house. If you then know that the actresses come from the porn world and are of course allowed to show their breasts filled with implants, then you also understand the uninspired attitude of the one and only actor in the film. David Carradine is only here to collect money.
The director and writer of this monstrosity is called Fred Olen Ray who gained fame with countless amounts of silly low-budget horror and softcore works. Evil Toons is such a silly product. The story is stupid and poorly executed. The characters are annoyingly flat (figuratively I mean eh) and incredibly annoying. The acting is crap. The monster is a clumsily executed cartoon and is neither fun, funny or terrifying. In short, the film only generates fatigue. What a nasty movie.
