Die'ced plot

"A Killer scarecrow that isn't off to see the wizard"

On Halloween of 1987, a pair of nurses at an insane asylum realize they have discharged the wrong patient. He had been locked up for seventeen years after cutting up his parents' body parts and playing with them as if they were pieces in a board game. They come to the conclusion that the only thing they can do is destroy all evidence that he was ever a patient there. While they do so, he kills someone and steals his Halloween costume, his Walkman and a complete knife set.

Director Jeremy Rudd attempts to create a sort of clone of Terrifier in just under an hour, but with Die'ced, he delivers a cheaper and less successful version. The surrender to the murders is enjoyable, as they are sufficiently bloody and thoughtful. The scarecrow that wanders among them also shows some potential, but lacks the charisma and intimidating presence of, for example, Art. The acting is generally poor, and the dramatic thrusts are unnecessary, resulting in some rather tough passages even within this short time.
