The artist Daniel King and his girlfriend Laura Peters rent from Natasha Carmton, a childhood friend of Daniel's, an old abandoned house in Cornwall. Natasha still has feelings for Daniel, who is quite a doubter. Soon, both Daniel and Laura notice that bizarre, inexplicable things are happening in the house. They learn from the villagers that according to an old legend there is a curse on the area. When Laura meets a priest along the way who advises her to leave the house immediately because it is hiding a terrible secret, she panics completely. But Daniel won't listen to her...
