Carpathian Eagle plot

A serial killer rips out the hearts of his victims and Inspector Clifford leads the investigation but finds no trace. While listening to the radio, he becomes aware of a bestseller in which the killer removes the hearts of his victims. Clifford meets the writer, Natalie, and she explains that the main character of her novel is based on a countess who lived centuries ago. Clifford asks to meet the offspring, Mrs. Henska, who becomes his number one suspect. Though he continues his investigation, the murders don't stop and Clifford tries to find other clues.
