Half star increase for this underrated movie. It was a nice reunion with this bad movie.

OK the acting is not the best and the effects are a bit cheesy, but what entertainment this film offers. From the first moment it is already clear that you should not take this too seriously. And this movie doesn't do that at all. The Cliché teenagers with cliché problems immediately bring a number of humorous moments. Nathan's friends are especially nice. Nathan himself is also just a nice character, although he is a bit less than his sidekicks. Furthermore, a separate setting for this film. You can compare the film to Shaun of the Dead but slightly different. The humor is occasionally just not successful, but there are enough moments left where you can laugh. The effects look a bit cheap, but fit perfectly into the atmosphere of the film. That scene with that Tracktor .

Not very good, but certainly not as bad as the average suggests. Great entertainment.

3.5* for the Irish Zombies.

Amateurish and ugly film with sometimes nice, practical effects. These kinds of cheap works often turn out worse, so director Bradley can at least take that with him. In addition, there is actually a concept to be found that can be worked out, but Bradley can hardly compensate for the lack of originality of that same concept. Boy Eats Girl is therefore often a boring, safe horror comedy with something to work with, but which never really directs forward. I also found humor to be on the bland side. Not that it rattles when it comes to acting, but not everyone is suitable for his or her role and that is why a film like this is forgotten far too quickly.
